A truly unforgettable stay in Madikwe. From the moment you walk in you're warmly welcomed by staff who sit you down in the colorful lounge area to aid with check in whilst you sip on a glass of bubbly. The lodge's stance on sustainability and being environmentally friendly extends to its use of paper refuse bags and waste water which gets treated and pumped back into the river which meanders through the property and into its waterhole (safe to said no complaints from the elephants who frequent it ). The game drives are an interactive experience with nature where guides explain the how the landscape is formed and how the stars in the night sky aid in navigation. The modern design of the lodge ushers in fresh breath of what a safari accommodation should look like as opposed to dated colonial styled lodges. And if guests are lucky they might spot Jaci (the owner) walking about the lodge with her 2 dogs eagerly inspecting every nook and cranny.
